Hi, I’m Rachel. Starting therapy can bring up a mix of curiosity and hesitation. You might be wondering if you’ll feel understood, if you’ll know what to say, or if this will actually help. My role is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, impress, or explain yourself perfectly. I aim to offer a steady, collaborative environment where your thoughts, emotions, and identities are met with respect and genuine curiosity.
Rachel works with adults who, at different points in their lives, may have felt misunderstood, overlooked, or out of place. Many of the people she supports find themselves caught in cycles of self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or relational tension. Others are navigating life transitions, changing careers, redefining relationships, questioning long-held beliefs, or making sense of evolving identities. Anxiety, low mood, attachment wounds, and coping strategies that once felt protective but no longer fit are common themes in her work.
In her work, the focus often includes strengthening emotional regulation, clarifying personal values, and building patterns that feel sustainable and aligned with each client’s authentic self.
She understands that struggles do not happen in isolation, but unfold within broader contexts of identity, culture, relationships, and lived experience. Rachel prioritizes authentic human connection with her clients. For her, theory matters most when it translates into meaningful, practical support in the therapy room. She balances structure with flexibility, making space for insight and emotion while keeping clients’ goals and overall wellbeing in view.
Sessions with Rachel are collaborative and responsive. Some sessions are spent moving strategically through patterns and identifying next steps while others allow space to slow down and give careful attention to emerging emotions. She is direct without being harsh and believes a gentle challenge is part of meaningful growth. Clients often describe her as honest, grounded, and easy to talk to. She integrates practical tools when helpful but she is not a worksheet, homework heavy therapist. Humour is welcome in her sessions, as meaningful work can still include moments of lightness.
Therapy is not always easy, but it is a courageous step and Rachel offers a space where clients can show up honestly and work toward change with steady, thoughtful support.
