Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hey there! I’m Kirsten. So, you might already know yourself pretty well, you can name your patterns, trace where they came from, and explain exactly why you do what you do… And yet, something still isn’t changing. That gap, the one between understanding and actually living differently is exactly where I thrive and love to work. Therapy with me isn’t just about insight. It’s about what you do with it and how you weave it into everyday life.

Kirsten is a direct, grounded and collaborative therapist who works with teens and adults who maybe thoughtful and self-aware but feel stuck. Many of her clients come in having already done a lot of thinking, about their anxiety, their relationships, their sense of direction, and feel frustrated that understanding hasn’t translated into change. Working with Kirsten is focused on closing that gap and identifying patterns, aligning actions with goals, and building practical skills that hold up outside the therapy room.

Kirsten is honest and not afraid to gently challenge clients if actions aren’t aligning with what they say they want. At the same time, she prioritizes connection and creates a space that feels genuinely human, warm, grounded, and free of judgment. She works especially well with adults in their 20s and 30s navigating anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, identity questions, and relationship concerns. Kirsten also has a deep respect and enthusiasm for working with older adults.

Kirsten starts session with all clients the same, with curiosity rather than assumption, and an awareness that what often looks like stubbornness  or resistance has a much more complex story underneath it.

Clients who work with Kirsten often describe sessions as both challenging and grounding. She holds space for the emotional side of things while keeping one eye on the practical, because she believes real change comes not just from understanding yourself, but from taking action on what you learn.
